This report begins with a list of included measures, which is then linked to a detailed discussion of the findings. The document describes existing measures of demographic and social characteristics and provides a review of the major findings in the field, with respect to their relationship with mortality, physical health, emotional health, and cognition. The demographic and social domains are ranked roughly in the order of the amount of existing epidemiologic evidence connecting these factors to health.
